A short, warm email landing in your inbox every night at 2am. Because these hours deserve better than a doom scroll.
This is the night shift, reclaimed — 21 days of honest, nourishing company that turns the loneliest part of the night into something that's actually yours.
made by mums ❤ for mums
Being up at night with a newborn is one of the loneliest things I've ever done.
With my first baby, the nights felt endless. The blur of days into nights was jarring in a way nobody had warned me about — and I remember the specific loneliness of being the only one awake in the house, feeding in the dark, wondering if everyone else found this easier than I did.
I did it again with my second. It was easier — but I still found myself reaching for my phone, scrolling Instagram, making Amazon purchases I didn't need. Not because I wanted to, but because I needed something.
You're not sure if what you're feeling in the night is normal — or if everyone else is coping better than you
You're a first time mum, or have a small baby, and feel the loneliness of the night wakings
You stay awake during feeds by making (way too many) dreary eyed Amazon purchases or doom scrolling Instagram
You don't recognise the person crying at 2am over something that wouldn't have bothered you six months ago
You're carrying more than tiredness — and you'd love someone to just acknowledge that
You want to come out of this season feeling like you were present for it, not just surviving it
For less than £1 a night, receive 21 emails, delivered daily at 2am — right when you need them. Each one short enough to read in a feed.
We explore topics that go where most parenting content won't: the loneliness, the identity shift, the love that coexists with exhaustion.
Yours to keep and return to, written by someone who has done the night shift, more than once, and come out the other side.
You're not alone
Every new mother needs to hear this first. Week one settles you in. You don't need fixing — you need company. We focus on feeling seen, settling in, and finding your footing in the fog.
Awe and wonder
Week two shifts your lens. Curiosity over exhaustion. Wonder over survival. A gentle reframe for the nights that feel relentless.
Anchored and alive
The final week zooms out. The bigger picture comes into focus. Who you're becoming, what this is building in you, and how to carry it forward when the nights get easier.
Having a baby is one of the biggest transitions of our lives. It changes so much of your life, your identity, your relationships, your body.
The juxtaposition of motherhood can take some adjustment: it's a space where both love and exhaustion, joy and overwhelm, elation and grief can all co-exist.
Even though I can't be there in person to hold your hand, I can be here in your quietest (or nosiest) late night moments to let you know, genuinely mama, you're doing an amazing job.
